Get paid to record your screen: $25 per accepted hour to train AI on the office work you already do.
Bookkeepers, admins, paralegals and billing specialists record their screen while they do their normal work. HUMXN pays $25 for every hour of recording that passes review, and the recordings teach AI agents how real tasks get done in real software.
- $25 per hour of accepted recording, on top of what the job already pays you
- You choose which apps are recorded, and you can pause at any time
- Your first recorded hour is paid whether or not it passes review
Join the capture program
Two minutes. A person checks the fit and gets back to you by email.
$25 per accepted hour, on top of the job.
You're not being hired to do anything new, and this isn't a wage. You're paid for recordings of work you were doing anyway, when they pass review.
$25 per accepted hour
Counted on the length of recording that passes review, not on the hours you worked. Plan on 70% to 85% of what you record being accepted: record ten hours in a week, get eight accepted, and that's $200.
On top of your pay
You're still paid for the job exactly as you are now. The capture payment is extra, for the recording. It is not a wage and it doesn't replace one.
Paid through Stripe
Approved recordings are credited to your balance and paid out automatically. Every upload is itemized so you can see what was accepted and why.
Nothing to buy
We provide the recording tool. It runs on your own computer, records only the apps you pick, and uploads when you tell it to.
Your first hour is paid, whatever happens.
Record a genuine first hour after onboarding and we pay it even if it doesn't pass review, then tell you exactly what to change.
Real tasks, in real software.
AI agents are learning to use a computer the way a person does, and the best teacher is someone who does the job every day. Every task you finish shows an agent which screen to open, what to check and when the work is actually done.

From sign-up to first payout.
Nothing is recorded until you've been onboarded and recording has been agreed by your employer or client.
01Apply in two minutes
What you do, the software you use and a few sentences about a typical day. No résumé, no interview.
02A short onboarding call
We set up the recorder, pick the apps it's allowed to see, and go through what must never be recorded and how permission works with your employer or client.
03Record your normal work
Start the recorder and do the job the way you always do. Pause whenever you need to. Review each session before you upload it.
04Review and payout
A person reviews each upload within a few days. Accepted hours are credited at $25 and paid out through Stripe.
What makes an hour accepted.
Four things decide whether an hour is paid. We tell you per upload what passed and what didn't, so you learn fast.
01It shows real work
A real task, start to finish, in the software you normally use. Idle time, personal browsing and breaks don't count, and the recorder pauses with one click.
02It's complete and clear
Full-resolution capture of the apps you chose, with the clicks and keystrokes that go with it, and a one-line note on what the task was.
03You had the right to record it
It's your own work or practice data, or recording was agreed in writing by your employer or client.
04It's new
Each task is paid once. Re-uploading the same recording, or repeating the same simple task over and over, isn't accepted.
What gets recorded, and what doesn't.
The data we're collecting is about how the work is done, not about you, your employer or their customers. Here's how we keep it that way.
The workflow is the subject
The recorder captures the apps you've allowed, with your clicks and keystrokes in them. It doesn't record your webcam, your microphone or the rest of your computer.
Sensitive data is removed
Names, emails, addresses, account and card numbers, passwords and other personal details are redacted before a recording is shared, and you review every session before it's uploaded.
You control the recorder
Pause for a personal message, a password prompt or anything you don't want captured, and delete a session outright if you change your mind.
Named buyers, under licence
Recordings go to approved AI organizations under a written licence, with consent records attached. They are never posted publicly or sold on an open marketplace.

AI training jobs for bookkeepers and office workers: asked often.
How much can I actually make?
$25 for every hour of screen recording that passes review, on top of what the job already pays you. That is per accepted hour, not per hour worked: breaks and travel aren't recorded, and reviewers in this field typically turn down 15% to 30% of what's uploaded. A realistic week: record ten hours, get eight accepted, earn $200. Recording thirty hours a week with the same acceptance rate is about $600. There's no cap and no minimum.
Is this an hourly wage?
No, and we don't want anyone to read it as one. You keep your job and your normal pay. HUMXN pays separately for recordings that pass review, at $25 per accepted hour. Time you don't record, and recordings that don't pass, aren't paid, apart from your first hour.
What if my first upload doesn't pass?
Your first recorded hour is paid at the full rate whether or not it passes review, as long as it's a genuine attempt at your normal work after onboarding. We then tell you exactly what to change, which is usually camera position, lighting or when to pause. After that, pay follows what's accepted.
What does “accepted” mean?
A recording that a person on our team has reviewed and found usable: it shows a real task from start to finish, the capture is complete, you had the right to record it, and it isn't a repeat of something you already uploaded. We tell you per upload what was accepted and, if something wasn't, why, so your acceptance rate goes up fast.
What do I need to install?
A small recording tool that we provide, for Windows or Mac. You pick which apps it's allowed to capture, it shows clearly when it's recording, and nothing is uploaded until you've reviewed the session and sent it.
My work involves confidential information. Can I still take part?
Often yes, but only with permission and with the sensitive parts left out. Your employer or client has to agree in writing before any of their work is recorded. You choose which apps are captured, we remove names, account numbers and other personal details before a recording is shared, and anything regulated, privileged or under a non-disclosure agreement stays out unless the owner of that information has agreed. If you can't get permission, record practice tasks on sample data instead; those are accepted too.
Can I record practice tasks instead of real work?
Yes. We supply sample companies, documents and data sets, and realistic tasks done on them are accepted at the same rate. Many people start this way while their employer decides.
Who sees the recordings, and what are they used for?
They're used to train and evaluate AI agents that operate software: teaching them which steps an experienced person takes, in what order, and how they know the task is finished. Recordings are delivered to approved organizations under licence, with your consent records attached, and personal details are removed first. Read how we verify every item on our verification page.
Why does this program pay a different rate from the others?
Rates follow how hard the recordings are to get and what AI teams pay for them. Everyday tasks that many people can record pay less per hour; skilled, licensed or clinical work that few people can record pays more. Every program's rate is on our get paid to train AI page. These are launch rates: yours is confirmed in writing before you record, and a later change never applies to hours already accepted.
Which roles and places are you taking?
Today: Bookkeeping & accounting, Payroll & HR admin, Paralegal & legal admin, Executive assistant, Operations & logistics admin, Insurance & claims, Medical billing & coding, for people based in the United States. If yours isn't listed, apply anyway; we add more as buyers ask for them, and we'll tell you honestly if we can't use yours yet. This program is for office and administrative work. Other kinds of work have their own programs, all listed on our get paid to train AI page.
Is there a contract or a minimum?
You sign a simple participation agreement that covers what may be recorded, consent and pay. There's no exclusivity and no minimum. Record as much or as little as you like, and uninstall the recorder whenever you want to stop.
Run a firm or a back office? Put a whole team on the program.
Accounting firms, agencies and operations teams join as a group. We agree what can be recorded and how it's redacted with you first, and staff are paid for every accepted hour.
Not quite your line of work? There's probably a program for it.
