Four steps to your first payout.
The same in every program: you do the work you already do, and we pay for the recording of it.
01Pick your program
Each line of work has its own page, with the tasks we want, the consent rules and the questions people in that job ask.
02Apply in two minutes
What you do, where you work and a few sentences about a typical day. No résumé, no interview.
03Get set up
A short call to set up recording: your own phone or camera for hands-on work, or a recording tool for screen work.
04Record and get paid
Do your normal work. Every hour that passes review is credited at your program's rate and paid out through Stripe. Your first recorded hour is paid either way.
Getting paid to train AI: asked often.
How do you get paid to train AI?
By recording your normal work. AI and robotics teams need to see how skilled people actually do a job, so HUMXN pays $12 to $30 for every hour of recording that passes review, depending on the work: footage from a wearable camera for hands-on work, or a screen recording for computer work. It's paid on top of what the job already pays you, and it isn't an hourly wage: only accepted recordings are paid.
Why do the programs pay different rates?
Rates follow how hard the recordings are to get and what AI teams pay for them. Everyday tasks that many people can record, such as cleaning, stocking and kitchen work, pay $12 per accepted hour. Skilled trades pay more, and animal, lab and clinical work pay up to $30, with licensed clinicians quoted per project. Each program's page states its own rate. These are launch rates: yours is confirmed in writing before you record, and a later change never applies to hours already accepted.
Do I need any AI or technical experience?
No. You need to be good at your own job. We show you how to record on a short call, and review what you upload.
Is this a real job, and is it legitimate?
It's paid side work, not employment: there are no set hours and no minimum. It never costs anything to join, we never charge for training or for taking part, and nothing is recorded without the written agreement of the people and places involved. Payouts go through Stripe and every upload is itemized.
Which jobs can take part?
Today: trades, housekeeping, food service, warehouse, manufacturing, mechanics, farm & landscape, retail, beauty & personal care, veterinary, nursing & care, lab work, surgical & dental, office work, customer support, design & editing. If your work isn't listed, apply through the closest program and tell us what you do; we add programs as buyers ask for them.
Who uses the recordings?
Approved AI and robotics organizations, under a written licence, to train and evaluate their systems. Identifying details are removed first, consent records travel with every item, and nothing is posted publicly or sold on an open marketplace.
I'm a physician, lawyer, engineer or other specialist. Is this for me?
The capture programs pay for recordings of work. If you'd rather be paid to review, label or grade AI output in your field, that's our expert network, which has its own rates and its own application.
A specialist in your field? There's paid expert work too.
Physicians, lawyers, engineers, linguists and other specialists are paid to create, label and grade AI training data in their own field, at specialist rates.
