01Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the HUMXN registry and marketplace, including contributors, experts, buyers and their authorized users ("members"). It forms part of each member's agreement with us. It exists to protect the people whose work and likeness are in our datasets, the buyers who rely on our records, and the integrity of the platform.
02Only upload work you have the right to license
You must not upload, submit or register content unless you hold all rights needed to license it as you indicate. In particular, do not:
- Upload work created by someone else, or work owned by an employer or client, without written permission to license it.
- Misstate how a work was made, including declaring AI-generated or AI-assisted content as human-created.
- Remove or falsify metadata, provenance information or C2PA records.
- Register the same work through multiple accounts or claim another member's registration.
03People and consent
Do not upload content showing identifiable people unless you hold a valid release or documented consent covering the use you select, including AI training, and you provide it when asked. Do not upload content containing personal data of others, such as names, contact details or identification numbers, unless you are permitted to and have flagged it.
04Child sexual abuse material: zero tolerance
Uploading, requesting or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexualized content involving minors, is strictly prohibited. We screen uploads against hash block-lists and a safety classifier.
Any account involved will be terminated immediately, the material will be preserved as required by law and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or other competent authorities, and we will cooperate with law enforcement.
We also prohibit content depicting or promoting violent extremism, non-consensual intimate imagery, and other content that is illegal where it is uploaded or delivered.
05Do not circumvent protections
- Do not remove, alter, obscure or attempt to defeat watermarks, forensic delivery marks, signatures, fingerprints or other provenance and protection measures.
- Do not attempt to bypass safety screening, PII detection, duplicate checks, rate limits, access controls or authentication.
- Do not probe or test the platform for vulnerabilities except under our responsible disclosure process.
06Stay within your licence
Buyers must use licensed data only within the scope of their order and the Dataset Licence Terms. Do not re-sell, sublicense, publish or otherwise distribute licensed data, or derivatives that reproduce it, outside the licence scope, and do not share account access or deliveries with people or organizations not covered by your licence.
07No scraping or bulk extraction
Do not use bots, crawlers, scripts or other automated means to access, copy or extract content, previews, metadata or listings from the platform, except through interfaces and limits we expressly provide.
08Respect expert and contributor privacy
Do not attempt to identify, deanonymize, contact or recruit experts or contributors whose identities have not been disclosed to you, including by analyzing deliverables, metadata or writing style, or by combining our data with other sources.
09General conduct
- Do not harass, threaten or abuse other members or our staff.
- Do not use the platform for fraud, money laundering or sanctions evasion, or to violate any law.
- Do not provide false identity, payment or tax information.
10Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including removing content, withholding content from datasets, suspending or terminating accounts, withholding or reversing payouts connected to the violation, revoking licences, and reporting conduct to authorities. Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell you what we did and why, and give you a chance to respond.
Severe violations, including CSAM, may result in immediate termination without notice.
11Reporting a concern
To report a suspected violation, including content uploaded without the rights or consent required, email hello@humxn.io [or abuse@humxn.io — confirm]. Include enough detail to identify the content. Reports of CSAM are prioritized.
