01About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at humxn.io and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by HUMXN Data Labs, a company registered in [Jurisdiction] under number [Company number], with its registered office at [Registered address] ("HUMXN", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02How these terms relate to member agreements
The Site describes HUMXN's private marketplace for verified, consented, human-made training data. Access to the marketplace and registry is by approval only, and use of it is governed by separate written agreements that take precedence over these Terms for the services they cover.
Depending on your role, the following documents will apply in addition to, or instead of, these Terms:
- Dataset buyers: an order form together with the Dataset Licence Terms, and the Data Processing Addendum where we process personal data on your behalf.
- Contributors and experts: the Expert Network Terms and any brief-specific statement of work.
- All members: the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.
- Where a member agreement conflicts with these Terms, the member agreement prevails for the services it covers.
03Using the Site
You may browse the Site and share links to it for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Disrupt, overload or impair the Site or the infrastructure it runs on.
- Probe, scan or test the Site for vulnerabilities except under our responsible disclosure process described on the Security page.
- Scrape, crawl or harvest content from the Site at scale, or use automated means to submit forms.
- Use the Site, or any content from it, to build a competing dataset or to train machine learning models without our written permission.
- Submit false, misleading or unlawful information, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Attempt to access accounts, dashboards or areas of the Site you are not authorized to use.
04Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, design, graphics, logos and software, is owned by HUMXN or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
You may quote short extracts from our articles with attribution to HUMXN and a link to the original page. "HUMXN" and our logos are our trademarks; you may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our prior written consent.
05Inquiries and applications
Information you send through forms on the Site, such as a dataset request or an expert application, is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting an inquiry or application does not create a contract, guarantee acceptance, or commit either party to any work.
Please do not send confidential information, sample data containing personal data, or material you do not have the right to share through the public forms. We will provide a secure channel when one is needed.

Articles and guides on the Site about law, regulation, licensing, data protection and AI governance are provided for general information. They are not legal, regulatory or professional advice and should not be relied on as such.
Descriptions of features, verification methods and processes are general and may change as the service develops. The specific commitments that apply to a member are those set out in that member's agreement.
07Third-party links and services
The Site may link to websites and services operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.
08Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HUMXN will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to [Liability cap, e.g. USD 100].
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10Changes and suspension
