Get paid to train AI: $12 per accepted hour to record your work outdoors.
Greenhouse workers, pickers, packers and landscaping crews wear a small camera through a normal day. HUMXN pays $12 for every hour of footage that passes review, and the footage teaches field robots how crops are tended, picked and packed, and how grounds are kept.
- $12 per hour of accepted footage, on top of what the job already pays you
- You record on your own phone or camera while you do your normal work; nothing is staged
- Your first recorded hour is paid whether or not it passes review

$12 per accepted hour, on top of the job.
You're not being hired to do anything new, and this isn't a wage. You're paid for recordings of work you were doing anyway, when they pass review.
$12 per accepted hour
Counted on the length of footage that passes review, not on the hours you worked. Plan on 70% to 85% of what you record being accepted: record ten hours in a week, get eight accepted, and that's $96.
On top of your pay
You're still paid for the job exactly as you are now. The capture payment is extra, for the recording. It is not a wage and it doesn't replace one.
Paid through Stripe
Approved recordings are credited to your balance and paid out automatically. Every upload is itemized so you can see what was accepted and why.
Use what you have
You record on your own phone or action camera, worn on a chest or head mount. We show you how to set it up; we don't supply equipment.
Your first hour is paid, whatever happens.
Record a genuine first hour after onboarding and we pay it even if it doesn't pass review, then tell you exactly what to change.
Work that changes with every plant.
No two plants, fruits or yards are the same, which is exactly why field robots struggle. Every row you work shows a machine how a person judges ripeness, reaches through leaves and handles something that bruises.
01Greenhouse and nursery
Seeding, transplanting, potting up, pruning, tying and training, watering and spacing.
02Harvest
Picking fruit and vegetables by hand, judging ripeness, cutting, bunching and field packing.
03Packing shed
Sorting and grading, trimming, weighing, boxing and palletizing produce.
04Livestock and dairy
Feeding, milking routines, handling and moving animals, cleaning pens and equipment.
05Landscaping
Planting beds, mowing and edging, hedge trimming, mulching, irrigation repairs.
06Trees and grounds
Pruning and removals from the ground, planting, turf care and seasonal cleanups.
From sign-up to first payout.
Nothing is recorded until you've been onboarded and recording has been agreed by the grower, landowner or client.
01Apply in two minutes
What you do, where you work and a few sentences about a typical day. No résumé, no interview.
02A short onboarding call
We walk through the camera, what to record, what to skip, and how consent works with the grower, landowner or client.
03Record your normal day
Clip your camera on and do the job the way you always do. Pause whenever you need to. Upload when you're done.
04Review and payout
A person reviews each upload within a few days. Accepted hours are credited at $12 and paid out through Stripe.
What makes an hour accepted.
Four things decide whether an hour is paid. We tell you per upload what passed and what didn't, so you learn fast.
01It shows real work
Hands, tools and the thing being worked on, from your point of view. Travel, breaks and paperwork don't count, and we show you how to pause.
02It's watchable
In focus, lit well enough to see what you're doing, with the camera positioned the way we show you on the onboarding call.
03Everyone involved agreed
Recording has been agreed in writing by the grower, landowner or client. We give you the consent form and handle the rest.
04It's new
Each job is paid once. Re-uploading the same footage, or recording the same simple task over and over, isn't accepted.
What gets recorded, and what doesn't.
The data we're collecting is about skilled work, not about you or the people around you. Here's how we keep it that way.
The work is the subject
The camera points where you're looking: your hands, your tools and what you're working on. The footage is used to teach AI and robots how skilled people work.
People and details are removed
Faces, names, mail, screens, licence plates and anything else identifying that ends up in frame is blurred or cut before footage is shared.
You control the camera
Pause for a conversation, a break, a phone call or anything you don't want captured. Unrecorded time simply isn't counted.
Named buyers, under licence
Footage goes to approved AI and robotics organizations under a written licence, with consent records attached. It is never posted publicly or sold on an open marketplace.

AI training jobs for farm and landscape workers: asked often.
How much can I actually make?
$12 for every hour of footage that passes review, on top of what the job already pays you. That is per accepted hour, not per hour worked: breaks and travel aren't recorded, and reviewers in this field typically turn down 15% to 30% of what's uploaded. A realistic week: record ten hours, get eight accepted, earn $96. Recording thirty hours a week with the same acceptance rate is about $288. There's no cap and no minimum.
Is this an hourly wage?
No, and we don't want anyone to read it as one. You keep your job and your normal pay. HUMXN pays separately for recordings that pass review, at $12 per accepted hour. Time you don't record, and recordings that don't pass, aren't paid, apart from your first hour.
What if my first upload doesn't pass?
Your first recorded hour is paid at the full rate whether or not it passes review, as long as it's a genuine attempt at your normal work after onboarding. We then tell you exactly what to change, which is usually camera position, lighting or when to pause. After that, pay follows what's accepted.
What does “accepted” mean?
Footage that a person on our team has reviewed and found usable: it shows real work from your point of view, it's in focus and lit well enough to follow, everyone involved agreed to recording, and it isn't a repeat of something you already uploaded. We tell you per upload what was accepted and, if something wasn't, why, so your acceptance rate goes up fast.
What do I record with?
Your own phone or action camera, worn on a chest or head mount so your hands are free. We don't supply equipment. Tell us what you have in the form and we'll confirm whether it works before you record anything.
Who has to agree to recording?
The grower or landowner for farm and greenhouse work, and the client for landscaping on private property. We give you a short consent form, and in practice we usually sign up the farm or the landscaping company so the whole crew can record. Houses, vehicles and people who end up in frame are blurred.
The work is seasonal. Does that matter?
No. Record when there's work and stop when there isn't. There is no minimum, and if you tell us your season we'll get you onboarded before it starts.
Who sees the footage, and what are they used for?
It's used to train and evaluate AI and robotics systems: teaching machines how an experienced person sizes up a task, chooses a tool and knows when the job is done. It's delivered to approved organizations under licence, with your consent records attached, and identifying details are removed first. Read how we verify every item on our verification page.
Why does this program pay a different rate from the others?
Rates follow how hard the recordings are to get and what AI teams pay for them. Everyday tasks that many people can record pay less per hour; skilled, licensed or clinical work that few people can record pays more. Every program's rate is on our get paid to train AI page. These are launch rates: yours is confirmed in writing before you record, and a later change never applies to hours already accepted.
Which roles and places are you taking?
Today: Greenhouse & nursery, Harvest & picking, Packing shed, Livestock & dairy, Landscaping & lawn care, Tree care, Groundskeeping, anywhere in the United States. If yours isn't listed, apply anyway; we add more as buyers ask for them, and we'll tell you honestly if we can't use yours yet. This program is for farm, greenhouse and landscape work. Other kinds of work have their own programs, all listed on our get paid to train AI page.
Is there a contract or a minimum?
You sign a simple participation agreement that covers consent and pay. There's no exclusivity and no minimum. Record as much or as little as you like, and stop whenever you want.
Run a farm, a greenhouse or a crew? Bring everyone for the season.
Growers and landscaping companies join as a group: workers are paid for every accepted hour they record, and we handle consent for the whole crew.
Not quite your line of work? There's probably a program for it.
